Huskers Dominate Track Kat Klash

Houston, Texas- The Nebraska Women's bowling team took home the tournament title over the weekend at the Track Kat Klash. The team went 10-3 with a total pinfall of 13,197.
 
The Huskers began the day with a solid 4-1 victory over McKendree. The team came out strong, taking the first three games before falling to McKendree in the fourth. After managing a 192-168 victory in the fifth match, the team sealed their spot in the championship game.
 
The championship game was a rematch against McKendree after the Bearcats defeated Arkansas State for their spot in the championship match.
 
The Huskers dropped the first game 189-170 but bounced back, winning the next three games 183-171, 211-180, 201-186. The Bearcats took games five and six 206-194 and 233-207, respectively. NU sealed its claim of the tournament title with a 191-168 victory in game seven.
 
The Huskers will return to the lanes November 15-17 at the Stephen F. Austin Jacks Invite in Kenosha, Wis.
