Several Huskers made an impact in Week 6 of the 2019 NFL season.
Brett Maher (Cowboys) put together a sensational performance against the Jets, converting three of four field goals, including kicks of 50 and a career-long 62 yards against the Jets. Maher accounted for nearly half (10) of Dallas' 22 points and almost single handedly willed the Cowboys to victory in New York.
On the opposing sideline, Alex Lewis (Jets) helped New York earn its first win of the season by protecting QB Sam Darnold, who threw for over 300 yards and two scores in the Jets' narrow 24-22 victory.
Elsewhere, Andy Janovich (Broncos) had an eight-yard reception in Denver the week after signing a new three-year contract, helping the Broncos earn a 16-0 victory over the Tennessee Titans, their second consecutive victory after a 0-4 start.
