Several Huskers made an impact in Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season.
Nate Gerry (Eagles) led the way for the Blackshirts in the NFL this weekend. He recorded an interception late in the first quarter and returned it for a 51-yard touchdown to help the Eagles go up 14-0 early. Gerry also had two tackles, a QB hurry and a pass deflection in the Eagles' 31-6 victory over the Jets.
Prince Amukamara (Bears) also had a takeaway over the weekend. He recovered a fumble against the Raiders to go with four tackles.
Richie Incognito (Raiders) was the most productive Husker in the NFL offensively on Sunday. He started at left guard and played the entire game, helping the Raiders rack up 229 yards through the air and 169 yards on the ground in their 24-21 win over the Bears.
Stanley Morgan Jr. (Bengals) was moved from the practice squad to the active roster last week and saw his first NFL action on Sunday. Morgan Jr. hauled in one reception for six yards and was in for 43 percent of the plays on special teams and saw the field for three offensive opportunities.
Sam Koch (Ravens) was the special teams standout for the former Huskers over the weekend, punting three times for 155 yards and averaging 51.7 yards per punt. Koch's longest punt was 57 yards and he recorded one touchback in the Ravens' 26-23 win at the Steelers.
