Major Retired Charlie Greene (Seattle, WA, Army, South Korea)

Seattle, Wash., native Charlie Greene was a Husker track and field sprinter and graduated from the class of 1967. He served 20 years in the US Army, highlighted by two tours of duty in South Korea. He was later stationed in Berlin and West Point, where he worked as a track and field coach. He received numerous awards including meritorious service, joint service and Army commendation medals.
