Nebraska Football Media Information
Credentials
To apply for a credential for the 2022 season please click here.
If you have questions about or problems with the credential process, please contact Vicki Capazo at (402) 472-2263. If you have submitted a credential request via e-mail or fax, please re-apply through the on-line system.
Media Inquiries

Media Services
Staff members will be on hand at every home contest and can provide information on players and coaches as well as statistics, game notes, etc. For a complete listing of media services, click here.
Internet Access
Media will be able to access the Internet in one of two ways - Memorial Stadium has wireless and hardline Ethernet capabilities in place. Please contact the Communications Office at least five days ahead of time to request an Ethernet line.
WiFi network and password information will be posted throughout the media area of each venue at the University of Nebraska. Your device must support WPA2 encryption to connect via WiFi.
Live stats for football, volleyball, soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball can be found at http://nebraska.statbroadcast.com.
This wireless network will available at most of Nebraska's sporting venues (including Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Bob Devaney Sports Center, Barbara Hibner Soccer Stadium, Hawks Field and Bowlin Stadium).
Directions to Memorial Stadium
From Lincoln Municipal Airport: Turn right on Northwest 12th Street as you drive out of the airport. Northwest 12th becomes Cornhusker Highway, which intersects with Interstate 180. Exit south (downtown) onto I-180, which turns into one-way, southbound Ninth Street in downtown Lincoln. Turn left at P Street (just past the Lincoln Journal Star building), go one block and turn left on 10th Street, then keep to the right for four blocks to Memorial Stadium (DO NOT enter I-180 north).
From Omaha Eppley Airfield: Follow the signs from downtown Omaha and Interstate 480. Take I-480 west to Interstate 80, then take I-80 west approximately 60 miles to I-180. Exit south (downtown) on I-180, which turns into one-way, southbound Ninth Street in downtown Lincoln. Turn left at P Street (just past the Lincoln Journal Star Building), go one block and turn left on 10th Street, then keep to the right for four blocks to Memorial Stadium (DO NOT enter I-180 north).

Big Ten Conference
The league office will be responsible for a weekly head coaches teleconference during the season. Contact Chris Masters at the Big Ten office at 847-696-1010 for call-in information. The Big Ten Conference website is located at bigten.org.
Press Box Accommodations
The Don Bryant Press Facility on Level 6 at Memorial Stadium is equipped to handle more than 500 media on a weekly basis. The press box has wireless internet and Ethernet capabilities for home and visiting media.
To connect to the athletic department wireless network, media MUST have access to change wireless internet properties. To get directions to set up the connection ahead of time, see the above area titled Internet Access.
Phone lines are also available, with all long distance calls requiring a credit card or be billed collect or to a third party. Media wanting to install a private line in the facility should contact Nebraska Telecommunications at 402-472-2000 at least two weeks before the game.

Media Credentials
All requests for press, broadcast, photo and parking credentials for Nebraska basketball home games should be directed to Vicki Capazo (vcapazo@huskers.com), One Memorial Stadium, P.O. Box 880123, Lincoln, NE, 68588-0123. Credential requests can also be sent via e-mail to Senior Associate Communications Director Shamus McKnight (smcknight@huskers.com) at least one week before the game.
As a general rule, working space is allocated on the following basis:
1) daily newspaper and wire-service writers covering for next-day publication;
2) radio and television personnel for broadcast origination;
3) sports editors of Nebraska daily newspapers;
4) official school student daily newspaper;
5) approved special coverage;
6) press and TV working photographers.
Generally, weekly newspaper representatives, Internet news services and non-originating radio representatives cannot be accommodated because of space limitations. Internet writers for sites affiliated with established, nationally recognized media outlets will be considered on a game-by-game basis as space allows. Credentials will not be granted for writers or photographers for Internet sites that are not affiliated with an accredited news organization.

Media will be able to access the Internet via wireless network at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Please contact the Communications Office at least two days ahead of time to request an Ethernet line.
Press Box Accommodations
The press box for Nebraska basketball games is located in the top three rows of Section 121 on the north side of the playing floor.
Television and radio crews originating an officially sanctioned broadcast of the game (see Broadcast Rights below) will be seated on the floor, with the visiting radio adjacent to the visiting team's bench when there is a TV telecast (south side of the scorer's table) and the home radio and television broadcasting teams positioned at midcourt opposite the team benches.
The camera deck is located at the top of the arena, directly behind the press box. Television crews telecasting live may shoot from either floor level (northwest or southwest baselines) or the camera deck in marked areas, but may not occupy space in the press box.

Press Box Accommodations
The Nebraska baseball press box is located on the second level of Haymarket Park. Stairs leading to the press box are located by the main entrance of the ballpark.
Television stations may set up directly in front of the press box on the second level or on the concourse level behind home plate, as well as in the photo bays. Photography bays are located along the first and third-base dugouts, with other photographer areas located throughout the park. Photographers are reminded to be courteous of the fans in the areas surrounding the field, and to not obstruct fans' views of the game in play.
