NU Hosts Wolverines in Last Home Meet

The No. 7 Husker men's gymnastics team returns to competition Saturday, March 23, for a matchup against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines at Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb. The meet is slated for a 1:30 p.m. CT start and will be broadcasted live on the Big Ten Network. The meet will be the team’s last regular season matchup and will include a special ceremony to honor the senior gymnasts.

Last Time Out
The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team claimed two event titles against the No. 6 Minnesota Gophers and No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes. Anton Stephenson claimed the floor event title (14.60) and the vault title (15.10). Additionally, Evan Kriley and Charlie Giles posted career-high scores on pommel horse. Minnesota claimed first (406.300), Ohio State placed second (405.550) and Nebraska placed third (402.300).

Scouting the Competition
No. 3 Michigan enters the competition after claiming first place against No. 5 Penn State and No. 4 Illinois. The Michigan men’s gymnastics team overcame a 5.95-point final-rotation deficit with a 72.300 score on vault to score a 409.950 and top Illinois and Penn State on Saturday, March 16.

The Wolverines were led by sophomore Cameron Bock who won event titles on parallel bars (13.70) and high bar (14.50).
