Knapton Wins Platform Event at NCAA Zone D Diving Championships

Austin, Texas- Omaha native and two-time All-American Abigail Knapton won the platform dive event at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships. She had a final score of 639.50 (321.10 carried over from prelims).

Earlier in the week, Knapton qualified for the 2019 NCAA Championships with her ninth-place performance in the three-meter dive (675.55). 

Freshman Jessica Warak qualified for the NCAA Championships with her 9th-place finish in the platform dive event with her score of 512.80 (269.85 carried over from prelims). 

Both Knapton and Warak will have a chance at All-American honors.

The duo will compete in the 2019 NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas March 20-23.
