Columbia, Mo.- The Huskers swimming and diving team sent 13 members to the Mizzou NCAA Qualifier to compete for a chance at the NCAA Championships.
In the preliminaries of the 200-yard butterfly, Izzie Murray broke her own school record with her new time of 1:57.11.
Dana Posthuma posted a B-cut in the 200-yard butterfly with her time of 1:57.90. Izzie Murray (2:02.02) and Taylor Acheson (2:05.18) followed for second and third in the finals, respectively.
Autumn Haebig posted a B-cut in the 200-yard freestyle with a first-place performance (1:47.01).
Katelyn Kilpatrick finished at 4:49.08 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Posthuma (54.29) Murray (54.65) and Tori Beeler (55.07) rounded out the top three spots in the 100-yard butterfly, respectively.
Gabby Baratta finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.62).
Lindsay Helferich came in second in the 100-yard freestyle (49.83) and followed up with a third-place performance in the 50-yard freestyle (23.18).
The NCAA Championships will be held in Austin, Texas, Mar. 20-23.
