The Nebraska soccer team (8-4-4, 4-1-3 Big Ten) visits No. 19 Wisconsin (11-2-3, 5-1-3 Big Ten) before hosting Illinois (10-6-0, 5-4-0 Big Ten) this week on BTN Plus.

The Huskers and Badgers square off Thursday at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex in Madison, Wis., starting at 7 p.m. (CT). NU battles the Fighting Illini on Sunday at Hibner Stadium, beginning at 1:05 p.m.

Sunday’s Senior Day Ceremony - honoring Caroline Buelt, Faith Carter, Michaela Loebel, Lauren Smith and Savanah Uveges - will take place before the match. Also, before the game there will be a mini trick-or-treat for children as part of “Haunted Hibner.” Fans are welcome to wear a costume to the game, as contests for children and adults will take place at halftime. Families can also enjoy face painting, balloon-twisting stations and inflatables before the game.

Last Time Out
The Huskers tied Michigan, 1-1, on Friday, Oct. 12 at Hibner Stadium before NU’s Sunday match against Michigan State was postponed due to snowy weather conditions in Lincoln, Neb.

Next Up
The Huskers close their regular season against Michigan State on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at noon (CT) at Hibner Stadium in a game that was rescheduled after snowy conditions postponed the Oct. 14 game.

  • The Huskers and Spartans were previously scheduled to play on Sunday, Oct. 14, but snowy conditions in Lincoln, Neb., caused the game to be postponed.

Carter, Uveges Leading Husker Offense

  • Seniors Faith Carter and Savanah Uveges are among the leaders on the team and in the Big Ten in offensive production this season.
  • Carter leads the Huskers with eight goals, tied for the second-most by an individual in the Big Ten behind Amirah Ali of Rutgers, who has 10 goals this season. Carter’s 17 points this season rank second on the team and tied for sixth in the Big Ten.
  • In the last 10 games, Carter has scored seven goals.
  • Uveges leads the Huskers with 18 points, which ranks fifth in the Big Ten. She has seven goals, which ranks second on the team and tied for fourth in the conference.
  • Uveges has scored at least one point in 10 of Nebraska’s 16 games this season.

Scouting the Wisconsin Badgers

  • No. 19 Wisconsin is 11-2-3 overall with a 5-1-3 record in Big Ten play. The Badgers enter the week on a six-match unbeaten streak, which includes four wins and two ties.
  • Nebraska leads the all-time series against Wisconsin, 4-3-2, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 2002. The two teams didn’t play each other last season, but NU is 3-1-1 against the Badgers in Madison, Wis.
