Elizabeth Gould is a senior majoring in advertising and public relations. The Atlanta, Ga. native enters her fourth season on the tennis team with most of her experience coming on the doubles court. She is a Big Ten Distinguised Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Elizabeth took the time to tell us a little bit more about her life off the tennis court.

Favorite TV show now or as a child: I cannot believe that I am admitting this... but The Bachelor/Bachelorette or Keeping Up With The Kardashians. But if I’m feeling like being motivated or inspired, then Friday Night Lights or Grey’s Anatomy.

Favorite pro team: Atlanta Braves/Atlanta Falcons. RISE UP (I’ll never forget when we lost the SuperBowl with a 28-3 lead).

Favorite sports movie: The Blind Side.

Favorite meal: Pizza. But with pineapple and ranch.

Favorite workout song: Hall of Fame by The Script ft. will.i.am will always pump me up.

Favorite class you've taken: Sports Media Relations

What you would do with a time machine: Repeat senior year of college over and over again.

When you're not competing, you like to: Go out to eat at new restaurants. Go to concerts. Hang out with friends. Travel to new places. Go watch any sporting event in the area.

Superpower you wish you had: Immortality.

Greatest challenge you’ve ever faced: Going to school 15 hours away from home not knowing one single person.

Greatest sources of inspiration in your life: My dad.

Pregame rituals: If we compete in the mornings, I sleep in my outfit for the next day. If we compete in late afternoons, then I have to chew gum during the warm-up.

Best friend: My friend group from high school (10 of us) are all still extremely close even though we’re spread out across the country at different colleges.

Best athlete you've competed against: I compete against Serena Williams in my dreams. It usually doesn’t turn out too well.

The best thing about Nebraska: There’s just no place like it.

Favorite Part About Living in Lincoln: Being able to aimlessly drive on back roads through the cornfields listening to music.

What you want to do after college: This is the question of the year - wish I could tell you. I want to stay involved with sports so working for a sports marketing agency would be ideal. Eventually I want to work with the marketing department of a professional sports team.

Most Rewarding Community Service Experience: Going to an assisted living center and getting to talk with the residents and hear their life story, experiences, and advice.
