Huskers Turn Attention to Colorado

Head Coach Scott Frost and members of the Cornhusker football team held their weekly press conference on Monday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

After having their season-opener against Akron get canceled due to weather, the Huskers open the season on Saturday against the Colorado Buffaloes. The former Big 12 foes will meet at 2:30 p.m., with ABC providing national TV coverage.

Nebraska and Colorado were conference rivals for more than 60 years in the Big Seven, Big Eight and Big 12 Conferences, before moving to the Big Ten and Pac-12, respectively, before the 2011 season. Saturday's meeting is the first of four matchups between the two schools between 2018 and 2024.
