Former Husker Brady Schnell hit another career milestone on Sunday evening when he was awarded his 2019 PGA Tour card after finishing 22nd on the 2018 Web.com Tour regular-season money list. The top-25 players on the list earn Tour cards for the next season.
Schnell has had a stellar 2018 season, as he has produced seven top-25 finishes, including a victory at the Wichita Open.
Earlier this season Schnell had to miss the Web.com Pinnacle Bank Championship in Omaha, but he had a good excuse because he was competing at The Open Championship. Schnell earned a trip to Carnoustie Golf Links after winning the 112th VISA Open de Argentina in November.
Schnell is the seventh former Husker to earn a PGA Tour card.
