Huskers Set for USATF Junior Championships

Two members of the Nebraska track and field team will compete at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at the Haugh Complex in Bloomington, Indiana this weekend.

Grady Leonard will throw in the shot put on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. (CT). Ryan Martins will run in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Sunday at 3:35 p.m. (CT). 

The top two qualifiers in each event will qualify for the U.S. Junior National team that will compete at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland on July 10-15. 

Additionally, Edward Jeans will compete in the hammer throw at the England Athletics Championships in Bedford, England this weekend.
