The Nebraska soccer team hosts former conference foe Colorado on Saturday night at Barbara Hibner Stadium. Kickoff for NU’s final 2018 spring game is set for 7 p.m. (CT).
Admission for the game is free and seating is general admission. Nebraska marketing staff members will throw T-shirts out to the crowd every time the Huskers score a goal.
NU holds a 2-0-1 record this spring after Sunday’s game against Missouri in Kansas City, Mo., was canceled due to weather conditions. The Huskers opened their spring campaign with a 1-1 tie against Iowa State on Feb. 25 before topping Drake by a 3-0 margin on March 4. Both games were held at the Hawks Championship Center. On April 7, Nebraska defeated former conference foe Oklahoma State, 3-1, at Swope Park in Kansas City.
The Buffaloes qualified for the 2017 NCAA Tournament after a 12-6-4 record, which included a 5-4-2 mark in Pac-12 competition. CU opened the postseason with a 2-1 win over Denver before falling to No. 2 North Carolina in the second round by a 1-0 margin.
Nebraska’s 2018 regular-season schedule will be announced in the near future. Check Huskers.com for updates on the Husker soccer team.
