LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska women’s soccer defeated Oklahoma State 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in the Kansas City, Mo. at Swope Park.
After multiple goal attempts by both teams, Nebraska broke away when Faith Carter scored the team's first goal in the 34th minute. Sinclaire Miramontez opened the second half with a goal followed immediately by Oklahoma State. Natalie Cooke responded with a goal.
Nebraska will continue the spring season on Sunday, April 15 at noon against Missouri at Swope Park. Nebraska begins regular-season competition in August. Check Huskers.com for more information.
