Huskers Dominate Bulldogs Early

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska women’s soccer defeated Drake 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in the Hawks Championship Center.

Nebraska immediately became dominant when Meg Brandt scored the team's first goal in the 11th minute followed by a goal from Sinclaire Miramontez in the 13th minute. Miramontez scored her second goal in the 34th minute giving Nebraksa a 3-0 run into halftime. Neither team scored in the second half.

Nebraska will continue the spring season on Sunday, March 7 at noon against Oklahoma State at Swope Park. Nebraska begins regular-season competition in August. Check Huskers.com for more information.
