The Nebraska beach volleyball team will host Missouri State on Friday at 1 p.m. at the beach volleyball court inside the Hawks Championship Center.
The Huskers are coming off a 1-4 start to the season after facing four ranked teams in a three-day trip to Arizona last weekend. Nebraska did earn a victory over Benedictine University at Mesa, 4-1. Missouri State is in its first year of beach volleyball and will be playing its first match in program history.
This is the third straight season the Huskers have hosted a home match. Nebraska is 2-0 all-time playing in its own facility, both 5-0 sweeps over Missouri Baptist. Nebraska will face Missouri Baptist again next Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Nebraska's home beach volleyball matches are closed to the public because of space limitations in the facility.
