Huskers Dominate Central Missouri Women's Invitational

Fulton, Mo. – The top-ranked Nebraska bowling team sits in first place at the Central Missouri Women’s Invitational after defeating five teams to go undefeated on Saturday for a total pinfall of 5,129.

The Huskers began the day with a strong win over Columbia College, 1,026-713. The Huskers found a similar outcome in their match against the hosts Central Missouri, defeating the 15th-ranked Jennies, 969-908.

The Huskers continued to dominate, taking down Lincoln (Mo.), 1,007-864, before ending the day with victories over Drury (1,000-863) and Elmhurst (1,127-985).

The Huskers continue play on Sunday starting at 8:45 a.m. (CT) with a match against Central Missouri. NU will then play Columbia, Drury, Elmhurst, Lincoln (Mo.) to finish out the traditional matches. Total pinfall from the two days of competition will determine the tournament champion.
