Haebig Posts B-Cut Time at Mizzou Last Chance Meet

Columbia, Mo.- Members of the Huskers swim and dive team competed in the Mizzou NCAA qualifier Feb. 24-25. 

Freshman standout Autumn Haebig posted a 52.29 in the 100-yard backstroke. This is a new personal best and a  B-Cut time. Her time is the 29th best time in the country, making her likely to be the first Husker swimmer to qualify for the NCAA National Championships since 2013. Haebig also placed second in the 200-yard backstroke (1:46.30).

Tori Beeler had a season high in the 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries clocking in at 1:00.60.

Lindsay Helferich finished first in the 100-yard freestyle (50.05) and team captain Kaylyn Flatt finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:49.88).

Team captain Jordan Ehly placed first with her time in the 200-yard freestyle (2:11.75) and came in second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.25). 

The Husker divers will head to Minneapolis to compete in the Zone D Diving Championships March 5-7. NCAA Championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio March 14-17.
