The Nebraska rifle team moved up to seventh place in the CRCA rankings this week, landing in the top ten for the first time in the 2017-18 season. The Huskers, ranked 14th last week, fired a score of 4,665 as a team against Memphis on Oct. 29
West Virginia is sitting in the top spot. Kentucky is in second, followed by TCU in third. Murray State is in fourth. Alaska rounds out the top five.
Nebraska competes again on Nov. 18-19 when the team heads to Colorado Springs, Colo. to face Kentucky, Air Force and Ohio State. Competition is set to begin at 9 a.m.
