Bill Moos Takes Fan Calls on Nebraska AD Show

Following his first official day as Nebraska's Athletic Director, Bill Moos sat down with Greg Sharpe on the Husker Sports Network's Nebraska Athletic Director Show on Monday night. Moos took questions from callers as well as from Facebook Live.

The first question Moos took from a radio caller focused on why he decided to come to Nebraska.

"One of the things that attracted me to the University of Nebraska is all the facilities, the resources, the passionate, passionate fan base...all the things that a person in my role dreams of," Moos said. "As I talk to my coaches that I have just inherited, I want to get a sense from them of what they might need that we don't have. It would surprise me if there's much. These are the things that as I observe and assess the program will be very helpful for me as we build our blueprint to go forward."

Moos also took a question from a Facebook user asking how Nebraska gets back to being the "hunted" instead of the "hunter", refering to a statement he made during his hiring press conference on Oct. 15.

"That's one of my sayings. It's far different being the hunted than it is the hunter, Moos said. "Once you get there, your mentality has to change because everybody's after you. What I said at the press conference is we need to get back to being the hunted, and right now we're the hunter in the sport of football. The intent is to draw on all the many resources and great things that we've been talking about throughout the program and get that mentality back."
