Huskers Discuss Meeting with Boilermakers

Head Coach Mike Riley and junior quarterback Tanner Lee met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to talk about Saturday's 6:30 p.m. meeting at Purdue.

Kickoff between Nebraska (3-4) and Purdue (3-4) at Ross-Ade Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m., with a live national telecast by BTN.

The Huskers are coming off a bye week that followed consecutive home losses to top-10 ranked Wisconsin and Ohio State. Nebraska enters the weekend 1-0 on the road in the Big Ten this year, posting a 28-6 win at Illinois on Sept. 29.

Purdue is 1-3 during Big Ten play this season, including 1-1 at home where they lost to Michigan (28-10) and beat Minnesota (31-17). The Boilermakers will be back at home following back-to-back road losses at Wisconsin and at Rutgers.

Nebraska holds a 3-1 edge in the series as Big Ten opponents. The Huskers and Purdue are both members of the West Division and meet each year, while the schools were in opposite divisions of the Big Ten from 2011 to 2013.
