Ashley Lambert finished her time as a Nebraska gymnast in style, earning a pair of All-America honors in 2017 to end her career as a three-time All-American. The Newport News, Va., native earned second-team All-America honors on vault and floor exercise in 2017 in addition to second-team honors on floor exercise in 2015. Lambert helped NU to the NCAA Championships in each of her four seasons, and she also helped the Huskers to a pair of Big Ten regular season championships. She was a two-time All-Big Ten performer, and she was named Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week four times throughout her career.
Outside of the gym, Lambert earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in each of her four seasons. She was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and a five-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
Ashley took a few minutes from her academic and athletic schedule to answer some questions and give us a little insight into her life outside the gym.

Fondest gymnastics memory: Hitting perfect 10s on vault in back-to-back weeks in 2015 (Lambert became the first gymnast in program history to hit perfect 10s on the same event in back-to-back meets when she hit 10s on vault against Penn State and Rutgers on Jan. 17 and Jan. 24, 2015)
Vegetables or fruits: Fruits, especially strawberries
