Sierra Hassel emerged as a key performer in Nebraska's beam lineup in some of NU’s most important meets of the 2017 season. She competed on beam in each of Nebraska’s final four meets of the year, and she saw action on floor exercise early in the season.
Hassel got off to an excellent start in the classroom and the community, as she was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in fall and spring semesters of 2016-17 and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
Sierra took a few minutes out of her academic and athletic schedule to answer some questions and give us a little insight into her life outside the gym.
