Griffith Takes Third at Pan Am Juniors

Nebraska track and field rising sophomore Isaiah Griffith finished third in the triple jump at the Pan American Junior Championships on Sunday in Lima, Peru.

Griffith, competing for the U.S. Junior National Team, jumped 50-10 1/4 (15.50m) to earn the bronze medal. He was the top U.S. finisher. On Friday, Nebraska's Sydney Otto placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 161-4 (49.17m).
