Abbie Epperson became a strong performer in her first season as a Husker, competing mostly as a three-event specialist in 2017. The Maryland transfer saw action on at least three events in seven of NU's 12 meets, and she competed in the all-around twice.
A standout outside the gym, Epperson earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in fall and spring semesters of 2016-17 and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
Abbie took some time to answer some questions to provide a little insight into her life outside of the gym.
