Nebraska women's golfers Sarah Pravecek, Audrey Judd and Emily Gillman earned repeat spots on the 2017 Academic All-Big Ten Conference team announced on Wednesday, May 31.
Pravecek, a senior from Omaha and a recent Nebraska graduate after majoring in marketing, captured her third straight academic All-Big Ten award. Pravecek was also a solid contributor on the course and in the community throughout her four-year career for the Huskers. She was Nebraska's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner for women's golf in 2017.
Judd, a junior from Olathe, Kan., added her second straight academic All-Big Ten honor. Judd enjoyed a breakout campaign on the course as well as a junior, posting the fifth-best single-season stroke average in school history while earning a trio of top-10 individual finishes. She won her first career tournament title at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in February.
Gillman, a junior from Austin, Texas, also claimed her second academic All-Big Ten award. Gillman also was a significant contributor on the course for the Huskers while being a leader for the Huskers in the community.
