Columbus, Ohio – The Nebraska men's golf team finished sixth as a team after firing 311 in the final round of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. The team posted 910 over the two day, 54-hole tournament.
Illinois captured the team title at the Ohio State University Golf Club's Scarlet Course with a total score of 864. Kent State and Iowa came in second and third place with scores of 874 and 899, respectively.
Michael Colgate tied for sixth place individually after carding 75 in Sunday's final round. The senior scored 221 over the 54-hole tournament.
Sophomore Jace Guthmiller followed Colgate closely with a final score of 222. Guthmiller tied for ninth.
Tanner Owen carded 228 over Saturday and Sunday, placing him in a tie for 28th.
Justin Jennings tied for 64th with a final score of 239.
Sean Song posted 252, placing him 80th individually.
