HOUSTON--The top-ranked Nebraska bowling team earned a runner-up finish at the 17-team KAT Klash Invitational in the best-of-seven Baker format championship tournament on Sunday at Emerald Lanes.
The Huskers were defeated 1.5-4.5 by host Sam Houston State in Sunday’s Championship match.
The Huskers played their way to the championship match with a 4-3 win over Vanderbilt earlier on Sunday. NU finished the weekend 10-3 overall.
Individually, Gazmine Mason led the way for the Big Red, finishing 11th overall with an average of 206.2.
Nebraska will return to action at the Warhawk Invitational the weekend of Nov. 11-13 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
