Kiawah Island, S.C. - After a brief hiatus, the Nebraska men’s golf team will be back in action at the Kiawah Classic on Sunday, Oct 30 - Tuesday, Nov 01.
Turtle Point Golf Course, a par-72, 7,061-yard layout, designed by Jack Nicklaus, will play host to the Huskers’ last tournament of the fall season.
Senior Michael Colgate will represent the No. 1 spot for the Huskers. Colgate tied for eighth place in the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, after firing a 215 over the 54-hole tournament.
Justin Jennings will play in the No. 2 spot at the Kiawah Classic. The senior shot a 220 at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, placing him in a tie for 30th.
Freshman Cameron Jones will play in the No. 3 spot. Jones tied for 58th with a score of 227 at the men’s last tournament.
Jackson Wendling will represent the No. 4 spot for the Huskers. The sophomore carded a 223 over the last 54-hole tournament, placing him in a tie for 44th.
Sophomore Jace Guthmiller will play in the No. 5 spot. Guthmiller tied for 34th at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, after firing a score of 221.
