Fort Collins, Colo. - The Nebraska men's golf team will head west to Fort Collins, Colo., to compete in its second tournament of the fall season, the Ram Masters Invitational.
Fort Collins Country Club, a par-70, 7,218 yard layout, will host the 54-hole invitational. Live scoring will be available on www.GolfStatResults.com.
The Huskers are coming into the Rams Masters Invitational strong, having placed seventh at their season opener, the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wis. The team shot a 276 the final round, tying a school record.
Coming fresh off a third-place finish in the season opener, senior Michael Colgate will represent the No. 1 spot. Colgate fired a 68 the final day of the Badger Invitational.
Sophomore Jace Guthmiller will play in the No. 2 spot for the Huskers. Guthmiller tied for 19th in the season opener, shooting a low score of 70 on the final day.
Freshman Cameron Jones will be playing for the first time this fall season in the No. 3 spot.
Tanner Owen, who tied for 41st in the Badger Invitational, will play in the No. 4 spot. The freshman shot a low score of 71 the final day of the season opener.
Sophomore Sean Song will represent the Huskers in the No. 5 spot. Song tied for 38th in the Badger Invitational, after firing a 69 the final day.
