Lincoln - Coach Mike Riley and the Huskers met the media Monday at Memorial Stadium for their first weekly press conference of the regular season to preview Saturday's season-opening home game with Fresno State.
Kickoff between the Huskers and the Bulldogs is set for Saturday at 7 p.m., with the 348th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium and a BTN telecast.
The match-up with Fresno State completes a three-game series between the Huskers and Bulldogs. Nebraska defeated Fresno State, 42-29, in Lincoln in 2011, before winning at Fresno in 2014. The Huskers have won 29 consecutive games against Mountain West Conference foes, including a 55-19 win at Fresno State in 2014.
