Boyer Wins Doubles Event in Austria

Former Husker Dusty Boyer captured his first professional doubles title in a $10,000 Futures Event in Innsbruck, Austria over the weekend. Boyer teamed up with Germany's Lukas Ollert to defeat Croatia's Duje Delic and Mate Delic, 6-2, 6-3.

"We are excited to hear that Dusty has won his first Futures Doubles event as a professional tennis player and are looking forward to watching him grow as a professional," Nebraska Head Coach Kerry McDermott said. "We as coaches wish him much success as a former Nebraska men's tennis team member!"

While at Nebraska, Boyer posted a 89-52 record in singles, and a 67-47 mark in doubles. He achieved first-team All-Big Ten status on three occasions, and collected Academic All-Big Ten honors three times.
