The University of Nebraska Department of Athletics has announced the launch of Big Red ReplyBuy via its newpartnership the with global sales platform provider ReplyBuy. This new partnership will provide fans the ability to instantly buy tickets to Husker games by simply responding to a text message. Nebraska fans will receive offers if tickets become available last minute from allotments previously reserved for the visiting team, player comps, recruits and high school coaches, even when games had been previously announced as sold out.
“Fans can now instantly buy great tickets on their phones by using our new technology,” said Diane Mendenhall, Senior Associate A.D. for Development & Ticket Operations. “This cutting edge approach improves efficiencies and enhances the fan experience, which we consistently strive to provide the greatest fans in all of college athletics.”
Husker fans who register for the program will receive customized notifications when tickets become available, enabling them to purchase tickets on-demand in a matter of seconds via text message. The faster fans respond, the better their seat locations will be. Electronic tickets will be delivered to a buyer’s phone instantly upon purchase and can be scanned at the event.
