Weather Forces Schedule Change; Friday DH @ 3 p.m.

The threat of inclement weather has forced a schedule change for the Nebraska-Purdue softball series at Bowlin Stadium this weekend. The teams will now kick off their three-game series with a 3 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, weather permitting.

The rest of the weekend schedule is dependent on the ability to play both games on Friday. If the weather allows for both games of Friday’s doubleheader to be played, the teams will wrap up their series on Saturday at 1 p.m., weather permitting. Sunday’s scheduled game (Noon) will be played only if the teams are unable to complete all three games of the series on Saturday.

The chance of inclement weather is possible throughout the weekend, so fans are encouraged to check Huskers.com and the Nebraska softball twitter account (@HuskerSoftball) for schedule updates. Should a game not be played, fans with tickets to that game can use their ticket for a general admission seat at any future Nebraska softball home game during the regular season. General admission seating at Bowlin Stadium does include one section of plastic, chairback seating (section 102).

Friday, April 29
Nebraska vs. Purdue (Game 1), 3 p.m.
Nebraska vs. Purdue (Game 2), 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 30
Nebraska vs. Purdue, 1 p.m.

Sunday, May 1
Nebraska vs. Purdue, Noon*

*Sunday’s game will be played only if all three games of the series are not completed by Saturday
