Sunday Softball Game Rained Out

Minneapolis, Minn. - Sunday's scheduled softball game between Nebraska and Minnesota in Minneapolis has been canceled due to inclement weather. The game will not be rescheduled.

The teams waited an hour before deciding to cancel the game, as persistent rain showers surrounded the Minneapolis area. With the cancelation, Minnesota earned a 2-0 series victory. The Golden Gophers are 32-12 on the season, while Nebraska is 28-16.

Nebraska returns to action on Wednesday at Creighton.
