The Nebraska men’s golf team heads to Newburgh, Ind., for the Big Ten Championships, Friday through Sunday.
Victoria National, a par-72, 7,242-yard layout, will host the 72-hole conference tournament. Live scoring will be provided by Golfstat.com.
The first 36 holes are scheduled for Friday beginning at 9 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start. The third round is set for Saturday starting at 9 a.m., and Sunday’s final round will begin at 8 a.m.
Mike Colgate, who has started every tournament this season, will represent the No. 1 spot for the Huskers this weekend. Colgate leads the team with a 74.00 stroke average over 28 rounds.
Justin Jennings has also played in every event this season and will play as the No. 2 for the Huskers. Jennings enters the Big Ten Championships with a 74.96 stroke average.
Jackson Wendling and Jace Guthmiller, who each led NU in its last outing, will be the Nos. 3 and 4, respectively, in the Husker lineup. The pair tied for 27th individually at the Hawkeye Invitational last weekend.
Sean Song will be NU’s No. 5 golfer and holds a 77.36 stroke average over 28 rounds.
