Wednesday Softball Game Canceled

Ames, Iowa - Wednesday's scheduled softball game between Nebraska and Iowa State in Ames, Iowa, was canceled due to inclement weather.

The teams were warming up and were 45 minutes from first pitch when the decision was made to cancel the game. Due to Nebraska's travel schedule and the future schedules for both teams, the contest will not be made up.

Nebraska now turns its attention to conference play. The Huskers travel to Illinois this weekend for a three-game series beginning on Friday.
