| Record-Breaking Day on Wednesday |
A pair of Husker seniors tied school records in Nebraska's 12-8 win over UNO on Wednesday. Alicia Armstrong tied the Nebraska record with eight RBIs in the win, while Kiki Stokes tied the school record with four runs scored.
For Armstrong, it was her third Husker record, as she also owns a share of Nebraska's game records for walks (4) and doubles (3). Stokes set her first Husker game record but she owns a trio of Nebraska season records, including runs (66), on-base percentage (.532) and hit-by-pitches (17).
| Long Road Trip Ahead |
Nebraska embarks on its longest road trip in years this week. The Huskers leave Lincoln for Fullerton, Calif., on Thursday, March 17 and won't return home until very late in the evening on Sunday, March 27. Nebraska will play nine games on its extended road trip, including five games this weekend at the Easton Tournament in Fullerton, Calif., a road game at Iowa State on Wednesday and a three-game series at Illinois next weekend. There will be time for fun as well, as the team will spend Monday at Disneyland.

| Sister Act on Sunday |
Sunday will be a sister act on the softball diamond when Nebraska and Oklahoma meet in a battle of top-25 teams. MJ Knighten is a junior for the Huskers while her younger sister Shay is a freshman for the Sooners. MJ is hitting .452 this season with four doubles, 13 homers and 31 RBIs. Shay is enjoying a fine freshman season, batting .438 with three doubles, five homers and 20 RBIs.
