College Station, Texas- Nicole Schwery and Francesca Giganti both earned finals trips in Wednesday’s platform dive competition and finished 11th and 17th, respectively, to conclude Nebraska's competition at the Zone D Diving Meet in College Station, Texas.
Schwery posted a score of 237.60 in the preliminary round, good enough to earn 12th-place and a spot in Wednesday afternoon's final round. In the finals Schwery tallied a combined rounds score of 488.30, securing 11th-place.
Giganti finished the prelims with a score of 226.00 which was the 16th-highest score, also qualifying her for Wednesday afternoon’s finals. Giganti finished the finals with a combined rounds score of 447.85, good enough for 17th-place.
Katrina Voge also competed for the Huskers Wednesday afternoon. Voge just missed out on a spot in the finals with a 20th-place preliminary round score of 214.25.

Anna Filipcic, who qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the one- and three-meter dive, is the lone Husker competing at the national meet. Filipcic will travel to Atlanta, Ga. for competition running March 16-19. Check back in to Huskers.com for updates.
