College Station, Texas- Anna Filipcic earned a spot at the NCAA Championships in the one-meter dive, as the Huskers finished day one of competition at the 2016 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in College Station, Texas.
Filipcic qualified for the NCAA Championships, for the third time in three seasons, by finishing in fifth-place in the one-meter dive. Filipcic posted a combined rounds score of 609.40. In the preliminary round Filipcic tallied the fifth-highest score, as well, with a score of 295.75.
Nicole Schwery and Katrina Voge also competed for the Huskers. Schwery led the way posting a score of 251.90, securing a 29th-place finish. Voge finished in 44th-place with a score of 217.80.
