Huskers Talk Start of Spring Football

Lincoln - Head Coach Mike Riley met with the media on Wednesday to discuss the start of spring football, which begins on Saturday and concludes with the annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday, April 16 at Memorial Stadium.

Riley said Nebraska's win in the Foster Farms Bowl over a UCLA team that was ranked as high as No. 7 last season has provided enthusiasm for his team.

"The fact that our team probably played our best football in the last month of the year, in general, and then completed with a nice win against UCLA was a good thing," Riley said. "There has been a good vibe in the weight room with our team, I think we are getting a lot of good work."

In addition to Riley, several Husker players met with the media on Wednesday. Transcripts of their media sessions are below.
