Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska soccer team opened its spring slate with a 4-1 victory over South Dakota State at the Hawks Championship Center on Sunday, Feb. 28.
Senior Caroline Flynn scored twice against the Jackrabbits. Her first goal was unassisted, but her second goal came off an assist from Caroline Buelt. Flynn added an assist of her own for NU's third goal, which was scored by Haley Hanson. Savanah Uveges scored Nebraska's final goal of the game off an assist from Amanda McClanahan.
The Huskers continue their spring season on Saturday, March 12 at Missouri, starting at 11 a.m. (CT). NU's next home match is scheduled for Sunday, April 3 against FC Kansas City at 3 p.m.
