Huskers Earn Bid to 2016 NCAA Championships

The Nebraska rifle team earned a spot to compete at the 2016 NCAA Championships in Akron, Ohio, on March 11-12. The NCAA announced the eight teams that will advance to the championships on Thursday afternoon.

This is the Huskers fourth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships. Most recently, NU placed fourth at the 2015 NCAA Championships, while Rachel Martin claimed the 2015 smallbore individual title.

West Virginia, Alaska, TCU, Murray State, Air Force, Kentucky and Ohio State will compete alongside the Huskers at the NCAA Championships.
