Challenge Champions
The Big Ten won the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge last weekend by a tally of 20-12. The Big Ten went 6-2 on day one and 11-5 on day two to clinch the challenge before the final day of competition. It was a big victory for the Big Ten, as the league was ranked the sixth-best conference in the 2015 NCAA RPI rankings, while the ACC was tabbed as the fourth-best conference in the country. Adding to the impressive victory was the fact that all of the sites were on an ACC campus, meaning half of the 32 games were true road games for the Big Ten teams.

The Story of "Shuckey"
When Nebraska hosts its first home games next Saturday and Sunday, one thing fans may notice are little decals on the helmets of Husker hitters. Those are called "Shuckeys" and a hitter can earn a "Shuckey" in a variety of ways, including having three RBIs in a game, hitting a home run, scoring as a pinch runner, etc. There are also categories for defense as welll, such as throwing a shutout, making a diving catch or several others. Finally, there are team categories as well where every player earns a "Shuckey". Most of the team categories are based on winning, such as a "Shuckey" for run-ruling opponents, winning a tournament, winning a conference series, etc.
Husker History: Nebraska Defeats No. 1 Florida
With Nebraska facing undefeated No. 1 Florida (11-0) on Friday night, we take a look back at the last time the Huskers took on undefeated and top-ranked Florida. The date was March 12, 2011, and the setting was Clearwater, Fla. The game started more than an hour late as Nebraska sat and watched Florida score early and often in a 21-0 five-inning victory over Ball State. The win moved the Gators to 24-0 on the season, but they would not earn win No. 25 vs. Nebraska. Taylor Edwards drove in only run of the game three batters in and Ashley Hagemann fired a two-hit shutout to lead the Huskers to their first win over a No. 1-ranked team.
Bonus Video Highlight: Emily Lockman tosses a seven-hit shutout at No. 1 Oklahoma on March 2, 2013, to give Nebraska its second win in program history over a No. 1 team.
