LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska track and field team finished its indoor home schedule and regular season with the Nebraska Tune-Up on Friday before 1,386 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track.
The Huskers won 15 event titles in their final meet before the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio on Feb. 26-27.
Elijah Lucy won the long jump with a personal-best 24-3 1/2 (7.40m). His jump moved him up to No. 6 in the Big Ten in the event.
Nick Percy matched his season-best of 63-1 1/4 (19.23m) to win the weight throw. Grant Anderson took the high jump title with a clearance of 6-10 3/4 (2.10m). Craig Driver was the top collegian in the pole vault at 16-10 (5.13m). Reilly Lambrecht captured the triple jump title by matching his indoor personal best of 46-9 (14.25m).
For the women, Reka Czuth was the winner of both the women's long jump and high jump. Czuth jumped 19-6 3/4 (5.96m) in the long jump and cleared 5-8 3/4 (1.75m) in the high jump. Paula Andrie won the pole vault competition by clearing 13-9 3/4 (4.21m).
Quashira McIntosh won the women's 200 meters, matching her season-best time of 24.45. The freshman also took second in the 60 meters with a personal-best time of 7.69.
Jasmine Barge ran a 60-meter hurdles personal best of 8.48 to win the event. Her time moved her into a tie for 10th in the Big Ten.
Andy Neal won the 400 meters in 47.77, as Huskers took the top four spots. Haley Harsin also led a group of four Huskers at the front of the women's 600 meters. Harsin's time was 1:35.46. Ty Moss won the men's 600 with a personal-best 1:19.30.
Jacob Olson was the top collegian in the 800 meters with his indoor personal-best 1:52.19.
The women's 4x400 relay of Barge, Kari Heck, Kristen Dowell and Morgan Woitzel won the event with a time of 3:47.03.
Sean Pille placed second in both the men's 60-meter hurdles (7.89) and 200 meters (PR 21.65). Ricco Hall, competing unattached, won the 200-meter race in 21.37. Katrina Santiago ran a huge PR of 4:57.20 in the mile to finish third. Tristen Sharp was third in the women's shot put with a throw of 48-11 3/4 (14.93m).
The Huskers will head to Geneva, Ohio next week for the Big Ten Indoor Championships on Feb. 26-27.
