All 10 Huskers Ranked by Coaches? Panel, RPI

All 10 Husker starters received spots in both the Coaches’ Panel Rankings and RPI Rankings, released by the NCAA on Thursday.

Jake Sueflohn (149) is one of five Huskers who earned top-10 spots in the second Coaches’ Panel Rankings. He is the highest-ranked Husker with the No. 4 spot at 149 pounds. Sueflohn also garnered the No. 4 spot in the RPI Rankings.

All-American TJ Dudley achieved the No. 6 ranking at 184 pounds by the Coaches’ Panel and earned the highest ranking by a Husker in the RPI with the No. 3 spot. Eric Montoya (133) and Austin Wilson (165) are each ranked ninth by the Coaches’ Panel, while Aaron Studebaker rounds out the top 10 with the No. 10 position at 197 pounds.

In the RPI Rankings, Tyler Berger is ranked fourth at 157 pounds. Montoya (No. 6 at 133), Lambert (No. 8 at 125), Micah Barnes (No. 9 at 174) and Austin Wilson (No. 10 at 165) are also in the top 10 of the RPI.

The Huskers host Northwestern on Friday night at the Devaney Center, starting at 8 p.m. (CT). The dual is part of Tumble N Rumble, as the women’s gymnastics team will compete at the same time.
