Palm Coast, Fla. - The Nebraska men's golf team will start its spring campaign at the Big Ten Match Play Championship, Feb. 12-13, at Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course in Palm Coast, Fla.
The first three rounds of the championship will be round robin, with each team collecting points for Saturday's final round. Friday's first round will begin at 8 a.m., with NU facing Iowa.
The Huskers will then face Northwestern in the second round at 1:15 p.m. Round three will begin at 8 a.m., on Saturday, with the Huskers facing Minnesota.
The final round will start at 1:15 p.m., when each team faces the opponent with the same seed in the opposite region of the bracket. Other teams participating are Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Rutgers.
Mike Colgate, Justin Jennings, Jackson Wendling, Sean Song, Jace Guthmiller, Joel Sneed and Dylan McCabe will all participate. Six golfers will play at a time with a seventh being subbed in and out of matches.
