Spring Game Tickets on Sale to Public on Feb. 3

Nebraska fans can secure their tickets for the Red-White Spring Game beginning next week. The spring game will be played on Saturday, April 16 at Memorial Stadium, with kickoff time to be determined at a later date.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 8 a.m. Nebraska football season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase spring game tickets with a 24-hour exclusive window beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 8 a.m.

The first opportunity to purchase spring game tickets is one of the many benefits offered to season ticket holders. Nebraska fans may purchase tickets on-line at Huskers.com, by phone at 1-800-8-BIG RED or in person at the Nebraska Athletics Development and Ticketing office, located in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage (8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays).

All individuals entering Memorial Stadium for the spring game will need a ticket. The majority of tickets are $10 and all seats are reserved. A limited number of $15 club seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A new feature in 2016 is a group rate of $5 per ticket for any group purchasing 15 or more full-price tickets. Club seats are not available at a discounted rate.

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure good seats as demand is once again expected to be high. For each of the past several years, more than 20,000 tickets were sold on the first day of sales, and Nebraska has drawn more than 54,000 fans for every Red-White game since 2004.

Nebraska will once again conduct the Drug Free Pledge at this year’s game, however youth taking the pledge will do so from the stands. This change is being put into place as a safety measure at Memorial Stadium. Youth eighth grade or younger taking the Drug Free Pledge will be admitted for free, but must secure a complimentary ticket.

UNL students will be admitted for free, but must secure a ticket for admittance. UNL faculty and staff can purchase a reserved ticket for $5.

Season Ticket Prices Set for 2016 Football Season
The University of Nebraska Athletics Department has set prices for season and single-game football tickets for the 2016 football season.

All season ticket prices for the 2016 season are unchanged from last season. Season ticket holders will receive a 25 percent discount as compared to single-game pricing, paying an average of $57 per game for seven home games.  UNL faculty and staff will be charged $53 per game ($371 total). UNL students will pay $161 ($23 per game) in 2016.  Season ticket invoices will be mailed to Husker fans later this week.

Nebraska’s 2016 non-conference home schedule is highlighted by a clash with Pac-12 power Oregon on Sept. 17. The Huskers have Big Ten home games against Illinois (Oct. 3), Purdue (Oct. 22), Minnesota (Nov. 12) and Maryland (Nov. 19). Single-game ticket prices will be $75 each for the first two home games against Fresno State (Sept. 3) and Wyoming (Sept. 10) and $125 for the game against Oregon. Single-game prices for all four Big Ten home games will be $65.

Nebraska will enter the 2016 season with an NCAA-record 347 consecutive sellouts. The Huskers averaged 89,998 fans for seven home games at Memorial Stadium in 2015.
