Huskers Move Up In National Rankings

The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team is ranked No. 7 this week, on both the CGA Coaches Poll and in the USA Gymnastics National Rankings. Since last week, the Huskers have moved up four spots in the coaches poll and two spots in the national rankings, thanks to an impressive performance against Air Force on Jan. 23.

NU broke six school records in the 434.300 – 425.950 win over the Falcons at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday night, including four team records (total score, floor, pommel horse and high bar) and two individual records. Ethan Lottman shattered the pommel horse record, while Kyle King broke the floor record.

The Huskers are back in action on Jan. 30 when the team travels to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers. The meet is set to begin at 7 p.m.
